Many rural properties contain streams, wetlands, forests, and other natural resources that may qualify for ecological restoration or mitigation banking.
Confluence Partners helps landowners evaluate these opportunities and determine whether their property may be suitable for environmental asset development.
Your Land May Be More Valuable Than You Think

OUR 5-STEP MITIGATION PROCESS

Step 1. Visit the Land
First, we walk your property with you, at no cost or obligation, to see if your streams or wetlands are a good fit. We’re simply exploring the possibilities and answering your questions.

Step 2. Apply for Permits
Our team manages all the complex scientific plans, permit applications, and coordination with government agencies to get the project officially approved. You can relax while we handle the red tape.

Step 3. Record the Easement
To make sure the restored land stays healthy, we place a conservation easement on the project area. This only affects the restored acres, not the rest of your property. You still own the conserved land and can hunt, fish, and enjoy it privately.

Step 4. Start Construction
Our experienced crews bring in equipment to reshape streams and replant native vegetation.

Step 5. Monitor the Project
After the heavy lifting is done, we monitor the site for several years to guarantee its success.

Step 6. Market & Sell Credits
Once the project is established, we market and sell the Mitigation Credits to our network of buyers. As the Credits sell, you get paid according to the partnership option you chose – either up front or over time. This is the final step where you see the financial return from your land's hidden value.

What are Mitigation Credits?
It's a simple, little-known way to turn an environmental asset into a financial one.

What is a Conservation Easement?
To ensure the valuable restoration work we complete on your property, we place it under a Conservation Easement. This legal protection is what allows us to sell the credits and pay you. Essentially, it guarantees that the natural value we've created isn’t damaged in perpetuity, like new construction or a subdivision, within the specific, protected project area only.
